SWATHI LAKSHMANAN

Swathi Lakshmanan, the Founder and Artistic Director of Choros Charas - Destination for Arts, San Francisco California USA is a versatile and experienced Bharathanatyam Dancer based in San Francisco Bay area.
Swathi is a performer, choreographer, and teacher for the past decade. Swathi teaches widely all over the world for all age groups=and she always makes sure the Bani reaches the Students in a very traditional way. Swathi is also a Researcher and an eminent event coordinator who has been recognized by various organizations for her organizational skills.

PADMA LAKSHMANAN

Padma lakshmanan is a Chemistry Graduate from Meenakshi College, Chennai India. She is a Music and Dnace enthusiast with great event management and organizational skills that she has volunteered and served many organization in India.

She was a senior Technical Officer at the BSNL, India for over 40 years and retired in 2020 to gt involved to her best in the Arts world.

SHRI MOHNANAN KUNNAKKAVIL

Guru Shri. K Mohanan, Professor, Kalakshetra Foundation is a versatile and experienced bharatanatyam dancer and teacher. He has been a senior faculty member of Kalakshetra Foundation for the past 32 years and is currently a professor at this esteemed institution. Apart from being a well established bharatanatyam performer, he has imbibed the expertise in nattuvangam and is a recipient of the most coveted national merit scholarship from Government of India for bharatanatyam and nattuvangam. He has been conferred with prestigious awards – Natya Kalaivanan and Natya Kalaimamani – for his immense contribution to the field.

RUCHIRA JAYAPRAKASH INGALE

Ruchira Jayprakash Ingle is a committed and versatile Bharatanatyam dancer, performer, choreographer also teacher From satara Maharashtra India.
She started her dancing journey as little as 2 and half years old and have been continuing to do so for that past 22 years. She is trained under Guru Aanchal Shanbhag Ghorpade (Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi Exponent) . Ruchira completed her Bharathanatyam Visharad from Akshitha Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalay Mandal Mumbai And Secured First Class Also Completed Master In Arts Specializing In Bharatanatyam Dance From Pune.
Ruchira is a National Level Winner Of Indian Cinema choreographer Master Saroj Khan ji Present "Ab Meri Baari" dancing Talent Hunt Season 1. Also a State Level winner Of DD Sahyadri Present"Dam Dama Dam" Dancing Competition. Ruchira has Participated In Many State Level, National Level Competitions and Show's and Won Several Awards And Accolades.

TEJASWI YENAMANDRA

Tejaswi Yenamandra is an accomplished Bharatanatyam Dancer with over 20 years of experience learning, performing and teaching. Under the guidance of Smt. Ramya Ramnarayan, Tejaswi successfully completed her Arangetram in 2008 in Hyderabad, India. Since then, she has continued her career as a dancer and completed her Master's in Bharatanatyam from the University of Hyderabad as the gold medalist in 2016. Tejaswi has performed across the US and India and continues her teaching as the Founder and Artistic Director of her dance school, Saadhana School of Dance in Antioch, California.

Deepa Narayanan is a Software professional from the Bay area California, that has huge passion for the Art. She has been dancing for over 2 decades and has been a part of eminent productions by Choros Charas - Destination for Arts and other renowned organizations in the Bay Area.

NIDHI MENON
Volunteering Dancer | Choreographer | Writer | Artist
Nidhi Menon is a versatile Writer, and Artist and an eminent dancer. Nidhi menon is a Data Scientist in the SF Bay area that has huge passion for her arts. She has danced in a number of initiatives by Choros Charas such as Social disDancing Series that we created during the pandemic, Maragazhi in San Francisco 2021, Shivarathri Rudrabhisheka, Independence day celebrations, and so on.
