About the event
Margazhi in San francisco Music and Dance Festival 2023 presented by National Ethnic Arts Non- profit Organization, 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt and Sri Vidya Dance School.
We together aim to Preserve, Promote and Celebrate Ethnic Arts through Performances, Education and Outreach.
Margazhi in San Francisco Music and Dance Festival by NEA Partnered with Srividya Dance School is delighted to invite all artists to participate in the season that is dedicated to music and dance as an offering to the divine. This application is only for in-person performers and the virtual performers application will open shortly after closing this application entries. Event: Margazhi in San Francisco 2023 Dates: December 15th, 2023 - January 13th, 2024 We invite solo performers, duos, and small groups to showcase their talents.
Eligibility: - Minimum Age: 10 years or older - Minimum Experience for Musicians, Accompanying artists and Dancers: Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of training, Pre-Arangetram, Post-Arangetram, or be professional artists. We encourage all interested artists to fill out the form and be part of this prestigious event.
DEADLINE TO APPLY : Septmeber 30, 2023 | 11:59PM PDT.
The application deadline is subject to change based on the number of applications we receive.
Registration Details: 1. Registration is free of charge. 2. Artists from any form of classical art, including vocal, instrumental, dance, and visual arts are welcome to apply. 3. The committee members will thoroughly review each entry form and respond to applicants within 2 weeks after the application deadline, informing them whether their entry has been selected or not. 4. Each school/organization can submit up to 2 entries, including solo, duo, or group performances, regardless of the slot length. 5. Please note that selected artists will be required to pay an invoice to secure their performance slot for this season. The payment will confirm your participation, to secure an in-person venue and/or virtual streaming for your performance, Tech Management, Marketing and Promotions, Artist Coordination by the MISF team, and more.
The slot will only be confirmed upon completion of payment.
6. The payment made to secure the slot is non-refundable under any circumstances. Confirmation Fee for Participants in the US

Solo performance Per Artist : 30 Mins - $50/- | 45 and 60 mins - $75/-
Group Performance (upto 4) Per Group : 30 Mins - $90 | 45 and 60 mins - $120
